Stilettissimo, Luxury Footwear Brand for Women, Signs Tony Award Nominated Singer/Songwriter Elisabeth Withers as Brand Ambassador
ZURICH, SWITZERLAND: Stilettissimo, the boutique luxury women’s footwear brand, known for its limited edition high-concept footwear, announced today that Tony Award nominated, singer/songwriter, Elisabeth Withers has signed on as brand ambassador. In this role, Withers will appear in Stilettissimo advertising and social media campaigns, will be featured wearing models from the company’s seasonal collections beginning this spring, and wear Stilettissimo as part of her on-stage wardrobe.
Brigitte Kobi, the visionary founder, made the announcement: “When I created Stilettissimo I envisioned this brand as a force of nature, representing not only sophistication and elegance, but drop-dead gorgeous designs where you could feel the vibrant energy of the women who wear them. Elisabeth Withers is the soulful singer/songwriter/actress who originated the role of Shug Avery, in Oprah Winfrey’s Broadway production of The Color Purple for which she received a Tony Award nomination. As a recording artist, she has released multiple albums and is perhaps best known for her popular R&B single, Heartstrings which appeared on her Blue Note Records album, It Can Happen to Anyone. Prior to her career as a featured artist, she sang background for Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez, among other artists. Elisabeth is currently in the studio working on a new project that will be released later this year.
Stilettissimo, the luxury footwear brand for elegant and discerning ladies, began in 2019 when after many years struggling to find high-quality, and high-design footwear, in her petite size four, Brigitte Kobi decided to launch her own footwear line. Kobi, an accomplished entrepreneur, began visiting factories, tanners, and the finest shoemakers in Italy, and decided to take on the design herself. Working diligently, Kobi became committed to delivering something new to the marketplace that would combine beauty, comfort, and sustainability.
The result was an elegant, glamourous line of footwear which has received raves in the European fashion press including the publications, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and L’Officiel.
