Fun never lets you down It is an essential part of our life and there is no success without it. In fact, I think, a big part of success is having fun.
Working towards a goal can be very consuming. It takes energy, courage, and staying power. Every successful business person or athlete will confirm this.
Some people have to overcome a health condition or a severe loss. The saying ‘give up, give in, or give it your all’ seems to apply to their venture even more.

Of course, loving what you do, focus, and knowing where you are heading are indispensable to sustain the ups and downs and keep you going. But even if you do, you might feel low sometimes. We all know these days. Not always, we can go for a walk or a run, so we might need a mental escape. Waking up your brain cells, so to speak.
One day, when I did not feel my best, I went looking for fun in order to redirect my thoughts.

A trip to Seussville
The first nugget was the quote above by the American author and cartoonist Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904 – 1991), better known as Dr Seuss, who was a great believer in the benefits of fun. If everything seems to go wrong, you might want to take a trip to Seussville.
The Iconic Duo
The second treasure is by the eternal duo Laurel and Hardy.
‘Our Bride’ from 1932 tells the story that Olli wants to elope with his bride whose father is not exactly delighted by his potential son-in-law. Olli and Stan, who is supposed to drive the getaway vehicle, rent a car. I know you know that it does not work out.
However, do yourself a favour: start this video at 15 minutes to watch the three of them try to fit into that flea chest of a car.
This part makes me scream with laughter. Every single time.
